HI: I am looking for information on my gr.-gr.-gr. grandmother Rachael Johnson and her family. So far I know she was born between 1792 and 1802 of a "Prominent" St. Mary's church family. I have not found her baptismal record. Her parents were George and Elizabeth Johnson. I do not know Elizabeth's maiden name or any dates for them.
Rachel married a poor catholic, James Jordan, at a franciscan priory down the road (?). Her parents did not approve, and Rachel never saw her father again. When George died and the will was read, Rachael received one shilling, "to cover the requirements of the law". (I do not have a copy of the will, but would love to.)
Rachel had a sister Celia, born Nov. 12, baptised Dec. 6 1797. I do not know of other siblings.
George's parents were Margaret Kenny who died April 29 1793 aged 55, and James Johnston, who died April 5 1817 aged 92 -- according to a cemetery stone.
Any more information or connections on my family would be most appreciated.

Good Afternoon
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I have had a quick look on www.rootsireland.ie and on that site there are also 3 burial records for an Elizabeth Johnson in Co. Westmeath in 1849, 1870 and 1877. One or none of these may be relevant to you. These records may prove useful and provide some further information.
Let me know what you think
Best wishes
