My ancestor, Thomas Lett (1796-1866), married Eliza Martin (1798-1877) around 1834. He was from Enniscorthy and she from Tomsallah. They emigrated to Canada in the 1840's. Thomas was the son of Ralph Lett and Anne Bolton while Eliza was the daughter of Christopher Martin and Elizabeth Griffith. I would be very interested in comparing notes with anyone who shares some of these ancestors. ronaldjdale@netscape.net

Dear Rondale:
Many thanks for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board and welcome to the site!
You might consider creating a profile for one of the above ancestors on the XO Chronicles. This feature allows any of our members to create profiles on people, buildings or historical events. It is updated every week and many of our members read them. You may find other researchers who are looking for the same family and who will be able to add to your own research.
The link for the XO Chronicles is below:

If you have any difficulties or any other questions, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Jane.

Greetings, Rondale.
Since I am a Bolton and my people were from Wexford, I was interested in your post.
I've been in contact with another person researching your line, but we were not able to find any contact between the 2 lines.
This other person was a Helen Wyse. Have you been in contact with her? This was in the "Your Irish Heritage" community.
Good luck with your search.

Helo Mike,
I rarely visit this site but received notification that there was a response to my post from so long ago. I usually ask people to email me at ronaldjdale@netscape.net. I know virtually nothing about my gggggrandmother Ann Bolton, other than the fact that she married Ralph Charles Lett of Ballyverk, Co Wexford and had at least three children, at least two of whom emigrated to Canada. Have you researched your Bolton ancestors in Wexford?
