Not much to go on. My great great grandmother was Catherine Hoar/Hoare. She was married to
Timothy O'Connell. Do not know when either arrived in U.S. but do know they live in Belgrade, Maine and later Lewiston, Maine.
Any possible idea is helpful. thank you. Maureen

This is all so close. I know for sure that the last name, however, was O'Connell. His obituary in the Lewiston, Maine paper states he was born in Cork. The birth date I have is approx. 1828-1831. for him
and approx. 1839 for Catherine Hoare/Hoar O'Connell.
Judging from dates I have she would have been about 3 when she arrived in the U.S.
Her parents may have been James and Mary Hoar
According to her obit. she was born in Kerry.
They did live briefly in the Belgrade-Waterville, Maine area.
I appreciate your assistance. Maybe some of this added information will allow a further connection.
Thank you. Maureen

I do not have a parish for Timothy. Wish I did.
I appreciate the Hoare/Hoar information. Could
certainly very easily be one of these.
I'll try something further on the irish site and also
ellis island. Thank you much. I feel encouraged with your help.
