Any descendents of family Savage of New Ross, Philip born approx 1905, mother Clarke,shopkeeper Charles St New Ross married Jane Little of Spa Hill, Borris Co Carlow daughter of ? William. Philip died approx 1847-49 and buried in Clarke grave Tintern Wexford . Large C of I family in New Ross, any further descendents other than their daughter Jane Philippina Savage married Augustine Bergin, Old Ross. May be descendents of Philips brothers or sister.

House was purchased by Colonel Philip Savage in 1745 from the owners of Borrmount Manor, and in a further genealogical link, his daughter, Margaret married Richard Boyse of Bannow House.
The house became part of Wilton Castle when the Savage family heiress married Harry Alcock in 1818.
