Hello! I am looking for information on Thomas Howlett, born around 1815 in Ross, County Wexford. I didn't find a Ross Parish in my search, so maybe the Parish name got shortened? Thomas immigrated to St. John's, Newfoundland, and married there. Am I looking in the right place?
Thank you in advance for any information about Thomas. We will be visiting Wexford in November and hope to do a little research while there.

Hello again!
There are two parishes: New Ross and Oldross which may be possibilities. I found a baptismal record in Oldross RC parish for a Thomas Hawlet in 1811. I assume you don't have his parents names so we could confirm this record. New Ross and Oldross are in southeast Co. Wexford.
Let me know if you have any questions. Have a great trip!

Thank you so much, Roger! Does that mean that you did not find a similar match in New Ross?
A very intersting lead!
