James Tobin b. abt 1809 in Newtownbarry, d. 1 Mar 1892 in Chicago. is my great-great grandfather. His wife was Margaret (nee Quinn, I think-hard to read). I am looking for a marriage record and of course any other information on his family in Ireland. Thanks.

Thanks Clare. Subscription to rootsireland ran out. No luck on other sites yet. I will continue to dig and look forward to July 8th! I posted in the hope that someone might recognize the family and have some firsthand knowledge.
