Hi Mary, I came across a message from you on the 'Ireland Reaching Out' site enquiring about the Chamney family tree. I do my family tree on www.ancestry.co.uk . My Chamney tree in Ireland goes back to 1600 and I was able to trace your Richard Chamney in it. His father was William Chamney 1776-1840. His father was John Chamney 1730-1789 who was a brother of my 5th great grand father Thomas Chamney. Their father was John Chamney and his father was also John Chamney.
