Found my Great-grandparents John Miley and Mary Kennedy Miley in Cullentragh, Rathdrum, Wicklow. They married November 28, 1839 and had the following children
Martin born 1840
Margaret born 1851
Martin born 1851
James born 1852
Michael born 1854
Elizabeth born 1857
Mary born 1858
Michael born 1861
John Joseph born 1862 (my grandfather)
would like to know if there are additional children in this family especially born between 1840 1850.
John born about 1815and died December 1868 in Wicklow. His parents are unknown and I would like to find out their names.
Mary Kennedy born 1816 in Wicklow and died September 28, 1904 in Wicklow. Her parents were Patrick Kennedy and Margaret Farrell. Would like to know more about their parents.

I searched Roots Ireland from 1840-1860 for Miley children where the father was John and the surname for the mother was Kennedy. Only three records came up- Mick in 1854, Elizabeth in 1857 and a Patrick in 1849. Below is a transcription of the Patrick record. As you can see the record was not in Rathdrum but in Valleymount which is not real close to Rathdrum so I'm wondering if this may be a different family. Can I suggest that you check out the Rathdrum parish register for the 1840s to see if you can locate other Miley children http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0488
