I have found an article in the Cork Constitution (March 1853) about a young female Henrietta Jackson who absconded from her parents home. The article states she was the daughter of a respectable tradesman at Ballinasloe. I am trying to find the name of her parents to see if I have a family connection but cannot find any information on Jackson's living at Ballinasloe. Can anyone help me?

The Tithe Records have the surname Jackson in the parish of Killoran in 1828. The parish is located South West of the town of Ballinasloe in the Poor Law Union of Ballinasloe/Loughrea. No Jackson found in the town of Ballinasloe 1850's.
It would be helpful if you published the article on Henrietta Jackson which you found in the Cork Newspaper. I have checked the records for March 1853 with negative results. There was a Missionary College in Ballinasloe 1856 which has a "G Jackson" who got first prize for Landscape Drawings.
