Looking for my great grandmother born Elizabeth Clarke c 1871  married Patrick Kelly in 1885 in Laurencetown/Eyrecourt area  and my grandmother Elizabeth Kelly born 1886 in Laurencetown/ Eyrecourt  Ladies emigrated to the US in 1900 from Eyrecourt    Elizabeth Kelly  married William Flannery from Killimor in 1903 in NY

    Thank you very much for your query to Ireland Reaching Out. I have passed on your message to a member of the community in the Eyrecourt area. Hopefully someone will be able to help you out.

    Have you tried looking for a marriage record for Elizabeth and Patrick? You could try the General Register Office (GRO), or failing that try writing to the parish priest in Eyrecourt who may have a record of it. This should give you more names, such as witnesses, etc.

    Thank you for your query regarding Elizabeth Clarke and Elizabeth Kelly. If anything comes up, I'll let you know.  Neither were listed in the 1901 census for Laurencetown which only means they weren't living here in Laurencetown at that time...they would have been around the ages of 30 and 15 respectively.  Did you receive any results from the Eyrecourt search?

  • Hi I appreciate I am coming into this discussion after a number of years but I am only now compiling my Clarke family tree I have located the marriage record in Eyrecourt for Elizabeth Clarke father John Clarke Redmounthill farmer and Patrick Kelly Lawrencetown they were married on16/02/1885
