I am seeking information about the family of Hanora (Nora) Carney.  According to her death record in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachsetts, USA she was born in Athenry, County Galway on 1 April 1862 to Bartholomew Carney and Catherine Fahey.

I have no information regarding her immigration, etc.  She married Patrick Fitzpatrick in Lawrence, Essex, etc. in 1884 and resided there until her death.

Any information kindly appreciated.  Thank you.

    Thank you very much for your query to Ireland Reaching Out. Have you considered checking for her birth record at the General Register Office (GRO) for more details about her?

    You should also consider checking the land records called Griffith's Valuation (1848-64) and the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38). You might find information about the holdings of her parents. This should give an even more precise location of origin.
