1677 grant of lands of Gortagarry, Tipperary by King Charles the second to John Short. Someone passed this information to me and I wondered if anyone knew how I could verify this? I found another entry in the Registry of deeds that refers to Curraheen and Dromeene lands of Gurtagarry. Does anyone know is Gortagarry and Gurtagarry the same place. Any help would be wonderful.
