I am trying to trace my g.grandfather, Josephus Boyd who was born in Drumsough Townland, Drummaul Parish, County Antrim, Ireland abt late 1848.
He emigrated to Australia in 1870 and married a girl in 1885 from the Irish Hatty family, the Hatty's hailing from Bushmills in Antrim.
His father is listed as William Boyd, blacksmith and farmer, and mother is Jane Allen. Possibly both of them are from Antrim too.
Any help greatly appreciated.
