Depends on what Castleconnell you are talking about.  

For instance, while Castleconnell is the name of a Roman Catholic Parish, it is also the name of a TOWN.  A TOWN however, is not to be confused with a TOWNLAND, they are quite different things.   A Town is just a "general area" while a Townland is a specifically geographically surveyed place.  

If you use the IreAtlas database (www.seanruad.com) to look Castleconnell up you will see that it is entered as CASTLECONNELL T.  in the civil parish of Stradbally with no acres listed after it (again, this is because it's just a 'general' area which in Ireland for some strange reason is called a town).  If you pull up all the townlands in the Civil Parish of Stradbally you will see that there 43 Townlands listed.  

Now, back to Castleconnell being a Roman Catholic Parish -- sometimes the geographic boundaries of the religious parishes are the same as the civil parishes, but often they are not.  In this case you are in luck because the RC parish of Castleconnell IS pretty much the same as the Civil Parish of Stradbally, the only difference being that the RC parish of Castleconnell is also BIGGER and the RC Parish of Castleconell also includes the civil parish of Killeenagarriff (South of Stradbally) and Killeenagarriff has 32 different townlands).  So you see, if you are correct about your MEADEs being from Castellconnell they could be from any of 75 different small townlands!  

None of this answers your question really about WHERE Belleview House in Castleconnell was (or if it even was in Castleconnell).    

I went looking for mentions for any house of that name in the County of Limerick and one of the sites I consulted was the Limerick City Council website (see  http://limerickcity.ie/).  

At that site, I did not find any notices of any MEADE family members in connection with any house called Belleview BUT there are some mentions of a Belle View which appears to be located on the North Strand.  See obit for William Alexander who died at Belle View North Strand in 1855 (http://www.limerickcity.ie/Library/LocalStudies/Obituariesdeathnoticese…).  This William Alexander's wife Isabella ALSO died at the same address in 1891 but when the Limerick Chronicle published her obit in 1891 it spelled the address as BELLE VUE (see http://www.limerickcity.ie/Library/LocalStudies/Obituariesdeathnoticese…)  Further research reveals that their son Samuel Wm Alexander formerly of Belle Vue Limerick, who died in England in 1905 was a QUAKER and given this I rather think that the house known as Belle Vue (still extant) and located on North Circular Road in Limerick (see http://www.buildingsofireland.ie/niah/search.jsp?type=record&county=LI&…) is the SAME house that is mentioned in the above obits because it mentions the artist Douglas Alexander as the owner and also that he was one of 3 QUAKER Alexander brothers who developed this area.  So this is probably NOT your Belleview?   

There is also an Advertisment published in the Limerick Chronicle on Monday 10 March 1783, that mentions that there is a "house and garden of Belleview on the canal near Limerick" to be let (rented).  (See www.limerickcity.ie/media/Harrold.pdf)  Note that this house can't be the same one as Belle Vue on North Circular Road (that one wasn't built until 1820-40).  

In addition to this there are several mentions of an address called Belleview in the 1885 Registor of Electors list.  Henry Martin w/ an address of Belleview whose polling location was the Castle Ward and George Watt, John Casey and John Ryan all  w/ an address of Belleview Terrace whose polling locations were the Dock Ward).  

Finally, if you look in the book "Limerick City Street Names" by Gerry Joyce, (see www.limerickcity.ie/Archives/.../Thefile,11411,en.pdf) you will find an entry that says "Meade's Quay (now incorporated into the present Steamboat Quay) was named after Christopher Meade, the proprietor of a ferry established in 1811, connecting Newtown Pery to the North Strand (now O'Callaghan Strand) prior to the construction of Sarsfield Bridge."    Rather than look for the Belleview House it would be more helpful if you could list the NAMES and approximate DATES of your MEADE family or any other information you have about them.  Sorry this is so long, but again to answer your immediate question, the parish you are looking for is EITHER the roman catholic parish of Castelconnell and you need to remember that this corresponds to the CIVIL PARISH of Stradbally.   A very good site for looking for index records for your MEADEs is the Irish Family History Foundation (IFHF) at www.rootsireland.ie.  This is a PAY site, however, there is much to be learned simply from taking a look-see at their index records which you can access for FREE.  For a tutorial on how to access and use the index records of this site for free See tinyurl.com/6m525b7.   Good Luck w/ your search!

i looked up the irish times parishes and it lists a parish of castleconnell 

when i look up irelandxo parishes there is no castleconnell listed can you explain why

the meades i am searching are listed in saint marys parish limerick    meade 1780-1800s    after reading the message if you know of any clue as to where i might find them i would appreciate it

Yes, the website Irishtimes.com lists both the Civil Parishes AND the Religious (in this case, Roman Catholic) parishes.  IrelandXO has confined itself to the CIVIL parishes only and as I stated in my earlier message to you, while there is a Religious (Roman Catholic) parish called Castleconnell, there is NO Civil Parish of that name.  The Roman Catholic Parish of Castleconnell corresponds to the Civil Parish of Strabally.
