My 2nd great-grandfather James Edward Lucey was born in Queenstown 1 Oct 1848 to James and Mary (Welch) Lucey. James came to Boston with his mother and brother John in 1853. The father came over in 1852. A sister, Anne, stayed in Queenstown and married John Mann. They had several children and lived at 36 Harbour Row in Cobh.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen the census, Anne (Lucey) Mann and some of her kids are living at 36 Harbour Row in both 1901 and 1911. John (died in 1906) and one of the sons are buried in Templerobin cemetery. I'm not sure if any of Anne and John's children had children that might have stayed in the area or if there are any siblings to James and Anne Lucey that might have stayed either.
I'm really just looking for another excuse to visit Ireland, I was there in 2001 and can't wait to come back.

I live in Cobh, have you tried sending a message to the {Cobh Town History and more}, they have afacebook page and web page, alot of Cobh people are members and may have some information for you.
