Hi there Beth,

The birth records for Carrigaline Parish are held in Crosshaven, and date from 1826. I will endeavour to obtain persission from the parish priest in Crosshaven to check the records for the mother's maidan name, if it's there.....and see if there were other children listed. This probably won't happen until the new year, as the priest will be busy with Christmas. I am researching my husband's family Timothy Mahony born 1868.

His parents were Daniel Mahoney (no info), married Catherine Leonard (she came to Boston 1893 and died here in 1906. They were married October 9, 1858 in Carrigaline)

Daniel's parents  were Andrew Mahony and Mary Barry.

I have the registers from 1826 but don't find Daniel's birthdate.

Timothy's brith certificate mentions Kilmoney.

Wondering if there are any other resources to find Daniel's birth and death dates (I assume he probably died right before his wife emigrated)
