Hi to All
First time on the site and a little bit of a shot in the dark. My ancestors are from Mount Mellick County Laoise (Elisabeth/Eliza Chambers- parents William and Ann Chambers) and James Cleary parents Owen 1801 and Julia 1806) from Clare Morris (think but not certain Ballingarry) County Mayo.
We believe that Owen and Julia had James 1847 , Thomas 1841 , Patrick 1832, Owen , Julia , John 1829
My wife Lisa and I have hit a wall with confirming who is form where in Eire I would love and very much appreciate any niformation that anyone can provide.
Thanks very much

Hi
Thank you for your message.
I have forwarded your request for assistance to a volunteer who may be able to offer some advice.
Remember to post as much information as you can with regard to the people you are researching. The more information you post, the more likely it is that one of our volunteers will be able to advise or assist you. Also include information concerning which sources you may have already used so others may further your search.
Please be patient - as our programme has only begun to rollout across the island of Ireland and volunteers in some areas may not yet be organized.
Kind regards,

Hi Glen
I am from Mayo, so I might be able to offer some suggestions on how you can research your Mayo Cleary Family.
I did not find the village in Claremorris you mention, but there is a Ballingran in Balla, which is about 20 mins drive from Claremorris.
The Oldest records online at the moment are the Tithe Applotments, 1823-1837

(Townlands in/near Claremorris here would be Bekan, Crossboyne, Kilcolman, )
