Family sources indicate that my ancestor John Keily was the son of Patrick Keily and Mary Aherne of Ballytrasna and Ballygeany. However, his death certificate states that his parents were Matthias and Ellen Keily. He seems to have been born around 1820.
He definitely married Bridget Costine in Providence, Rhode Island, USA in 1853 and settled in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he died in 1905. He appears to have had a prior wife, as his daughter Mary Jane was born in 1849. Other children were Johanna, Julia, John, Elizabeth (my ancestor), Frances, Dennis and Richard.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Gary, I am looking at old queries and yours appears to be for the parish of Cloyne, crucially while records go back to the late 1700s the years you are looking at are missing, see https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0035
I searched a subscription site for Cork and nothing to match, however since your post the records for Cork are free to view here, sign in and off you go, click on church on the homepage and Cork for location, a lot of John Kelly's to look at but doubt yours is there is Cloyne did not have the record.
