If anyone might be able to help, I'd love to know where my paternal grandparents family's came from.
My grandfather was Edward Whalen.
My grandmother (his wife) was Mary O'Leary.
I have heard her family lived in Co. Cork but I do not know if it's true.
Any help would be appreciated.
Do you know when Edward was born ? Found several record matches for an Edward Whalen but a date would be useful, even an estimated year will do :)
