Have you tried looking  for the families in church records?

Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which may be helpful is the irishtimes. Here, they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Clane/Rathcoffey parish follow this link:

You could also do a search in Griffith's Valuation. This was a property valuation survey carried out in Ireland between 1848 and 1864. You can search it here:

Given the dates of Patrick and Michael's birth, if the family remained in Ireland you also be able to find them in the 1901 and 1911 census records. You can search these here: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
