I am looking for Captain John Boyle. He died c 1898. He was Chief of the Dublin Fire Brigade in 1870s-80s. The music "The Fireman's Polka" was written in his honour. I am looking for his birth date, spouse and children. I know there was an Anne, Ann or Annie Boyle who may have been his daughter.

I have been talking about him today with my mum - My great grandfather was Thomas Taylor married to Anne Boyle. Unfortunately have little more than that as I am trying to trace also!
