My ancestors gravestones in Newtown Connecticut say that they were both from Kiltrellig. Their names were Patrick Crotty (1838-1888) and Margaret Connor or O'Connor (1836-1916). I believe that Patrick's father may have been named Martin. They had several children all born in the USA. The oldest was born in 1867 so we know they were here by then. I don't know if they were married in Ireland and guess that a marriage record would provide some useful information. Thanks for any help you can provide.

A nice person was good enough to send me a picture of the headstone which lists Kiltrellig as their home.

I bookmarked a photograph of this headstone some time ago when it was at

No divert for this link appears to have been put in place when everything on this website was moved around last year.
If there was a link from this message to the image, it too has been removed.
Where can I find the image now?
Your name has come up as a DNA match and I am looking for possible connections.

Paddy:
I don't know where the link is but I am happy to post a copy of the photo as well as a close up of the inscription. Also, I have never had my DNA tested so I don't know how I could come up as a connection. Please let me know.
