Looking for information on Patrick Shannon Born 1837 in Clare and Margaret Malone born in 1851 my Great Grandparents.
They were married around 1874 in Sth Melbourne Australia and the children born from the marriage are Patrick, Maryanne, Michael, Margaret Ellen and Murty my Grandfather.
I don't have as yet any immigration information on either of them.
Hoping someone can help.

I saw your message on the message board and I thought that I would reply. Do you have any informatiion on either Patrick's parents or Margaret's parents? (Names of either/or father and mother). That would be a great help.
There is a very good website www.clarecountylibrary.ie/genealogy. The Clare County Library has a lot of online resources and you may find some very useful information there.
If you can narrow your search down to even a parish, please come back to me and let me know.

thank you so much for answering, I don't as yet have any information on Patricks or Margarets parents or the Catholic Parish but will keep doing so more research here as well where they settled and were married in South Melbourne Victoria.
