Iam searching for the origins of Dennis O'leary(worked as carpenter, born 1810/11-1879)who was possibly born in lemont?descibed as 2 miles from  blarney. He was married to Margaret Nugent(1805-1879) who in her obituary was said to have lived in london.Their children were:Catherine born 1830 died1838.

They then moved to South Australia  arriving in 1838 on board the prince George from london.Margarets mother also came out in1851 aboard the Raleigh she was born about 1773.She being alone with no family left as per newspaper article

Here they had Catherine1838-1863 who was married to Robert Abel May(my great great grandparents).Thomas O'leary 1841-1906(died in Wilcannia NSW,where they owned a inn)Cornelius 1844-1894(died South Australia, but lived Wilcannia at some stages) Married Mary FergusonHonora O'leary1866-1848 married to John Henry von Allworden Denis 1849-1853another daughter may have been Theresa.

I have no proof but suspect Daniel O'leary (worked as tanner)born 1815 in lemont  died 1905.Lived in london at some stage as he claimed to have witnessed the coronation of queen victoria.Whether true or not Iam not aware as reading newspaper reports he seems to be capable of telling a few colourful stories. He maybe a brother as he owned a inn in common with the above O'learys. He arrived 1839 on the ship Lysander. He was married to Mary Donovan.Other early O'leary who are possibly related are:Andrew 1794 charleville,died1882 South Aust, arrived 1840 on the mary dugale.Married to Catherine Burke.Arthur b1807 died 1860 South Aust.Patrick 1801-1874 SA,Julia b 1820-1886 SA,David born about 1822 died about1904,not sure what ship he was on bu tarrived in 1843.Johanna who arrived aboard the duke of roxburge in 1838.Timothy who arrived in  1840 not certain of ship and finally John.Sorry to have ramble so much but I was hopeful that if I provide alot of information I may be able to track Dennis and nargaret down.Any information I can provide on the above family's that I know I will glady share.

Much obliged Alison.
