I am searching for relatives of Thomas Conroy who also may have been known as Tom More or Tom Bottles. Tom and his family were supposedly farmers and they also supplied boats.
Tom had sons named Dudley, Michael and Thomas, daughters named Mary Agnes and Barbara Ellen. Mary and Barbara immigrated to the United States in the late 1920's through Boston. Barbara stayed in Boston and Mary moved to Pittsburgh. Dudley supposedly moved to London.
Tom's wife may have been named Mary.
There is also a great grandson that may be named John Conroy who still lives on that farm.

John is my uncle.
The "Bottles" as they were called for predictable reasons had a son, Tom, who married a Mary (recently deceased just after Christmas), my grand parents.
One of their sons was Tom, and this is Thomas Conroy, his son from merry old England saying hello. And if this isn't my family, it's either a staggering coincidence or the Conroy's just aren't very original when it comes to forenames.
We have a large and healthy family spread out across Ireland, England and the United States, including your native Boston.
What would you like to know?

I wonder if we may be related. My Thomas Conroy was married in the 1800s to Mary Conneely. They had the following children: Patrick Henry, Thomas J, Bridget, Martin, Stephen, Mark, Mary, Delia, Michael, and John. Patrick, Stephen, Mark, Martin, Delia, and Ellen emigrated to the US and lived in Massachusetts and Maine. Michael stayed on the family farm and his son Josie (recently deceased) was well known as a breeder of race horses and bulls. I wonder if your Thomas Conroy is Patrick's brother Thomas?
