Loooking for information on my great grandmother, Catherine Driscoll. Born in Skibbereen in the 1850's. I believe her parents names were Dan Driscoll and Ellen Ryan.
The Griffiths Valuation survey for Co. Cork was conducted from 1850-1852. I checked the head of household listing for Abbeystrowry parish which includes Skibbereen and found a record for a Dan Driscoll in Lissalohorig townland.
I would consider this as a lead for further research.
