I am looking for information on the family of my great great grandfather Laurence O'Toole. He and his family were all Protestants from Wexford. On his marriage certificate to Anne Groves Leonard (25 July 1853, Whitechapel), his father, who was alive at the time, was described as "Laurence O'Toole, gentleman, Wexford, Ireland. My Laurence was born in Wexford in 1820. I do not know his mother's name.
Edermine is a guess at a possible location derived from trying to find Protestant O'Tooles in the County around the right time who could be described as gentlemen. One possibility is the Edermine House O'Tooles. I don't know if I am on the right track or not.
