re Royse aka Royce family
Thomas Henry Royce, 1800-1840, Ballgrane (spelling could be wrong, sometimes spelled incorrect by person recording info) died in Limerick
Margaret Comba 1794- 1885. Born in Nantinan Limerick, died in Pakenham, Ontario, Canada. Question as to whether they were actually married.
Two sons:
William 1829-1889. Born Limerick, died in Ontario, Canada
Thomas 1831-1913. Born Limerick, died in Ontario, Canada
Records I have states that Margaret emigrated to Canada in 1893with the two boys and later married here in Canada
Google search: Royce of Ireland/Charles Julian he has recorded a lot of history of Royce family but had difficulty sorting family members before the above Thomas Henry

Hi Dolores
Thanks for your message of 11 Apr. The Thomas Henry Royse 1800-1840 Ballingarrane, Limerick although connected would be a different Thomas Henry Royse (Rev) 11 May 1822 - 25 May 1896 of Nantinan, Limerick. The latter is a 2nd great grandfather to me. Further back there is a George Royse who is a 7th or 8th great grandfather to me who was born 1655 in Martock, Somerset and died 23 April 1708. I am having difficulty making the exact link for him in the tree. He was a chaplain to King William 111 of Orange and preached to the King in St Georges Church, High Street Belfast. after he landed in Ireland in 1690
just prior to the Battle of the Boyne. George Royse is buried in a tomb at Oriel College, Oxford University. I was able to download a copy of George Royse's will from the National Archives, but would need an expert to decipher most of it. A lot of it is in Latin and middle English. There are family names mentioned in it. My guess is both branches of the Irish Royse families go back to George Royse. I would also mention that my Royse family tree is all spelt Royse as opposed to Royce, which I feel was adopted by those emigrating to North America/Canada.
Hope this bit of info is of help
