Looking for information on Edward Patrick Daly. I have very little information and facts vary on census and military registration documents
One shows birth as "Hildare" Ireland but thinking this is "Kildare"?
Date of birth on one as Aug. 26, 1877
Birth on another as July 24, 1877
Immigrated to United States 1889 listed on census
"Ireland -free state" listed as where from on census.

I went to www.familysearch.org to look for birth index records in 1877. I found this record for an Edward Daly in the Edenderry registration district in Co. Kildare. I also found a baptismal index record for an Edward Daly born August 13th 1877 to Patrick Daly and Bridget Finegan Daly. (second record below) in Carbury Kildare. Carbury is a townland and civil parish and is part of the Edenderry registration district. To get a copy of the civil birth record, you can write to the GRO www.groireland.ie fill out their form and provide the year of birth, registration district (Edenderry) and the Volume and page number ( 13 and 488).
