Joseph Colhoun was born 18 Dec 1849 (baptized 10 Mar 1850 at Taughboyne C of I) to William Colhoun and Elizabeth Roulston of Corncammon (Comcannon), Taughboyne Parish, Donegal. There is evidence of two siblings in the Monreagh Presbyterian Church register, namely, Andrew born 20 Jul 1846 and baptized 18 Oct 1846, and, Isabella born 24 Oct 1852 and baptized 2 Jan 1853.
I do not have any further information on the parents, William and Elizabeth, nor on the two siblings.
In addition to the two previously mentioned church registers, the First Ballylennan Presbyterian, the Second Ballylennan Presbyterian and the St. Johnston Presbyterian registers have been checked as well
Joseph married an Elizabeth Moffat Dec 30, 1873 in Ferniegar, Lanarkshire. They are my direct ancestors. The marriage registered indicated the Elizabeth "Ralston" was deceased.
I'd really like to find out more information on all these people. My mother started searching for her grandfather, Joseph "Colquhoun" back in the early 1990's and it's just been this year that we've made the discovery about his birth/baptism.
Any hints, clues, directions, etc. would be gratefully received. It is difficult searching from afar.

I think the townland were they lived is Corncamble in All Saints parish.
I checked the 1858 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for that parish and there was a William Colhoun in that parish. Also, I think the name Roulston was spelled Rolleston or Rollestone in 1858.
I looked for death index records for William and Elizabeth with no success.
Finally, I found a 1901 census record for an Andrew Colhoun who was 55 which matches the 1846 date of birth. Not sure if this is the brother to Joseph. (see below)
