Have you tried looking on Irish Genealogy website? They have begun to upload church records to their website free of charge. So far only Dublin city, Co. Kerry and Carlow and parts of Cork have been uploaded. Ballyclough records are not uploaded however it may be no harm to do expand your search a bit. I did a quick search already and there were a couple of Thomas Roach?s baptised in the 1700?s. However, without further information I do not know if they are relevant:

Thanks for your note.  I was in the National Library in Dublin this month and accessed a lot of  sites but not the Cork specific ones.  I will look into these sites.  Thanks so much for your help.  It is very difficult trying to do this research from Canada!!!
