Grace Family

Just as a start anyway I see from Tithe applotment records that a Micheal and John Grace had land in Carrig Monsea in 1825 see link they are item number 194 on page.

Tithe Applotment were a record of amount paid by landowners to the Church of Ireland in tithe or tax.

Would be slightly unusual for someone of that family to get married in Terryglass approx 20 miles away but if their was an original family connection it may have been possible .

Hi Bill, I did see your response a number of years back and I am still wondering if you are still a volunteer. Some additional reply to you would be that i still am researching my initial question. I would like to add that I am researching 3 Grace families total from the London Ontario area and where they came from in Ireland. The John Grace and Patrick Grace mentioned in the original posting.  In addition to that there is a Michael (agrees with your reply) Grace / Mary McLoughlin family in the same area of London Ontario came over from I believe Tipperary as well with their family. However their first child born in Canada a James Grace dob March 20, 1852 had Patrick Grace and Bridget Blake as the godparents on a baptism there. So I definitely think that Patrick and Michael were related. I am still trying to find documentation to tie John Grace and Bridget Carroll to them. I will attach some images of the families from the info I do have.
