Michael Cain and Eleanor Morgan married 19 January 1833 at Athboy and seems had 7 children between 1833 and 1848. Eldest son Richard came to Australia c. 1866. Did Michael and Eleanor stay in Athboy?
They were Roman Catholic.

I hope that someone with information makes a connection with you and helps you with your research. in the meantime have you tried looking at the 1901/1911 census records to see if you can find record of Michael or Eleanor in the area at the time?

Athboy burial records up to 1873 are available on http://www.ancestry.com/ however you have to subscribe to that website.
The indexes to to Irish civil records up to 1958 are available online here https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1408347 You could try searching these to see if there are any death records that could be realted to the famiyl and perhaps give you more iforamtion on where the death occured.
