I am searching for info on my GGGrandfather Patrick Brennan, farmer., d between 1882/1899. His wifes name unknown. My GGrandfather was Edward Joseph b. about 1846., he left for England in the early 1870s. His siblings may have been Michael, Rose, Kate, Mary Ann and possibly Patrick jr.
There are 4 Patrick Brennan's on Griffiths Valuation, in Muckno. Any help would be great.

I looked on a subscription site www.findmypast.ie for death index records for a Patrick Brennan who died between 1882 and 1899. I only looked at the Castleblayney registration district which includes Muckno.
( I think you can also search www.familysearch.org for free but it is a little more complicated because I don't think you can refine your search to the registration district.)
I found four death index records which are potential leads.
Oct-Dec. qtr. 1885 born 1806 recorded on volume 1 page 288
Oct-Dec. qtr. 1889 born 1828 volume 1 page 322
Apr.-June qtr. 1895 born 1824 volume 1 page 382
Jan.-Mar. qtr. 1898 born 1821 volume 1 page 401
To obtain a copy of a record, you would have to write to the GRO www.groireland.ie fill out their form and provide the quarter/year registration district and the volume and page number. A copy costs around 4 euros. Let me know if you have questions.
