I was informed that my great grandfather Hugh Davis Murphy was baptised in the Methodist church which I think is in Billy. His father was Rober, tbut no idea of his mother. He had a brother called Caleb and the two moved to Belfast. My father mentions a third brother who emigrated to the US and founded a tobacco company with two Jews in Pennsylvania. I can find no record of him or their father Robert or their unknown mother. If anyone can help my email is ciaraine@hotmail.com.

Copies of the baptism and marriage records for the Methodist church in Billy are held in PRONI (the Public Record Office) in Belfast, as follows:
M. Billy Baptisms, 1831-1987; marriages, 1871-1931.
The records are not on-line and so you would need to make a personal visit to look them up (or get someone else to do it for you).

Thank you Agohill Antrim for your help. Unfortunately I am undergoing chemotherapy so the trip will be too much for me, however maybe a family member will do it one day.
