I am a decendant of Charles Eckles. Our family history trail is as follows:
Charles Eckles: born around 1715, probably lived part of his life in Belfast. Died 1781
His third son Nathaniel Eckles was born in Belfast October 2, 1744. Nathaniel was recorded in the military records of Pennsylvania, USA in 1780.
Skipping several generations, we are decendants who live in central Missouri, USA. There are many of us. My grandfather's name was also Charles Eckles. He was born in 1918 in Missouri.
I have a family history book created by a cousin of mine in 1978 which has a wealth of knowledge. Anyone who is decendants of Charles Eckles of Belfast please feel free to contact me.

I have a copy of Harry E. Eckles' 435 page book, "Eckles and Eckels Families in the United States." It has the history of Charles E. Eckles/Eckels/Eccles (1715-1781) and his descendents as well as surname history from Scotland and Northern Ireland. If you'd like a copy, drop me an email.
