My great grand father was Thomas John McNamara. His Mother was Anastasia Cullinan and his father was John McNamara. I am looking to find decendents of Thomas McNamara, if possible still in Ireland, not to mention where the family was buried. I would like to come to Ireland one day and retrace the steps of the family and if I am so lucky, maybe meet a long lost relative!!

  • There is an Anastasia McNamara age 82 living with her daughter Anastasia Connell's family in the 1901 census in Broadford, Kilseily, Clare.  Would her age fit?

  • Hi Thomas, my great grandfather was born November 1869. He lived in the Moanmore Upper area with his father John, who was a farmer. John´s father´s name was Patrick. I do not have any information on John´s mother or his siblings. Below is the family members (siblings) from my great grandfather Thomas. He immigrated to the US via Boston in 1877.

As for Anastasia, I know only that her father´s name was Martin and that they lived in Moanmore Lower. I have an idea that she had a brother named Charles, but I have not yet had this confirmed. I wrote a Charles Cullinan about a month ago, who I thought might be a decendent from Anastasia´s side. I have unfortunately gotten no word back yet :/ I am not sure how excited people would be if I just started calling them randomly.

Do you have a link for this phone book?
