Catholic records for the parish of Cleenish start in 1835, so John and Martha were originally from the parish you may be able to find their baptism record if they were born after this or perhaps more likely, their marriage cert if married there. Most Catholic records are held locally so you may need to write to the local parish priest for possible assistance. You may find the Irish Times website useful as they give an overview of what records are available and also where copies are available:

Have you heard of Griffith?s Valuation? This is a property valuation survey carried out in IReland 1848-64. I couldn't find a record of John in CLeenish however their is a John Creighton recorded in the nearby parish of Kinawley
