  • Hi Keith,

Patrick was born in the parish of St. Michan, Dublin. He was convicted of stealing bank notes and other valuables from a house. He has an unusual file reference in the National Archives PPC 1305.

His file may give up a lot of interesting information, He was in prison for 6 years before transportation, the prison records would also be of interest.

The Parish secretary in St. Michan's is Paddy (a lady), she charges 10 euro for a baptism cert, St. Michans records go back to early 1700's
