Hi Nev
There is a marriage record of John BRYAN to Mary Condon Cork 1837 on www.rootsireland.ie/
Is this the vintage you are looking for?
If so you can view the full record but you need to purchase credits. It will have the parish and MAYBE the parents' names.
I couldn't find any of the children's bairths but if you can supply approximate birth years I'll have another look.

Well Nev I'm a bit stumped!
There is a baptism record on www.rootsireland.ie/ of Johanna O'Brien 1917 Cork but the parents aren't John & Mary!
The 1901 & 1911 Irish Censuses are free online and you can search for John O'Brien Cork Townland Mitchelstown and get 16 or so matches on each census but there doesn't seem to be a family with the names you listed.
I tried the first names one by one and still no luck.
Do you know where Johanna lived in Oz?
Did she marry & if so when & where? I couldn't find her on NSW or Vic BDM.

Can't find the marriage - closest is Elizabeth O'Brien to John Edwards Mt Gambier 1912
Can't find them in the Aust Electoral Rolls either.
Do you have a death record for her?

The death records shows her birth as December 1918
On www.rootsireland.ie/ the 1918 records for Johanna O'Brien 1918 are both Tipperary.
Those with parents John & Mary are 1915 - 1 in Tipperary & 1 in Waterford.
There are 22 birth/baptism records of O'Brien / Brien children with parents John O'Brien and Mary Condon 17 in Cork & 5 in Waterford - earliest is 1818 and latest is 1855
Only marriage record of John O'Brien and Mary Condon is 1837 Cork. Is it possible that they were Johanna's great great grandparents?
Can't find any of the kids' births in Oz or Johanna's marriage which is weird.
Do you have access to the sister's papers you referred to?

Hi Col
Firstly thank you very much for looking for me.
Im trying to get more info from my family, not much was passed on over the years.
My cousin was recently over in Mitchelstown attending a funeral of a Catherine (Kitty) O'brien who was the wife of Thomas O'brien, My grandmothers brother i think. she died 27th Dec 2013
When she was there I think she was getting some family info of some relative she knows that i dont have a clue who they are.
So I know that there are relatives there just seems like this side of the O'brien family never had anything record it seems lol
In regards to the sisters papers, there is nothing I know of. All I know is my grandmother came out to Oz approx 1930's on her sisters papers (Gertrude)
