I am trying to connect William Stutt of Ballagh to my ancestor Elizabeth Stutt who died at Ballagh in 1867 at age of 90 years. I purchased her death record which states informant was son William Stutt.
William Stutt shows up in the 1901 and 1911 census returns for Armagh Manor in Ballagh but his ages reported are not consistent (65 and 85 years...so born between 1836 and 1826). He shows up in the Griffiths Valuation roles too. Best is a head stone for him and his family at Church of Holy Trinity, Parish of Aghalurcher, plot D78. The inscription states that he died 2 April 1917.
How can i learn who is parents are? would there be an obituary or death record which lists his parents? would there be burial records at Holy Trinty? all help welcomed.

Merv:
Ignore the Morocco spam message. I reported the spam to the Ireland XO headquarters staff.
A few comments:
William's death record will not show his parents names.
Generally, the age shown on the 1911 census is more accurate. The Old Age Pension program came out in 1908 and at that point, older folks got more interested in their actual age because of the pension. The 1901 ages were generally understated.
You may want to visit this site to see if they might have the baptismal record for William. Civil registration did not start until 1864. http://www.fermanagh-gold.com/

Hi Merv
There is a birth record of William Stutt in Fermanagh 1867 on www.rootsireland.ie/; parish is Linaskea Registration District.
Ballagh is not in the list of parishes.
Mother's name is not Elizabeth.
You need to purchase credit to view the record which MAY give you the parents' names.
The death records on rootsireland do not include Fermanagh.
No luck on www.irishgenealogy or ancestry.com either.
