Searching for anyone who may know of this family, or if there may be present day descendants.  Have been working on this family tree now for some time.  Not sure if our family Bible info is correct, but think we are looking for a William O'Reilly 1769-1827 and a Mary 1769-1842.  There is also a John O'Reilly who is mentioned, passed away in 1834.  Do not know who he is. 

 We do know their one son Henry left Ireland and came to Canada, in 1822.  He may have had his brother Francis with him at the time, or Francis may have come to Canada later.  Henry married a Bridget Grimes in 1835 in Toronto, then settled in Simcoe County, Tecumseth/Colgan Ontario area till around 1846.  Then came to Grey County, Sydenham Township, Ontario area to resettle once again.  We believe Francis married  a Mary Doyle, in the Tecumseth area, and also resettled in the Sydenham Township area, but not sure where.   We have no idea what parish in Ireland this family is from, as Henry Sr. tombstone only says "Armagh".  They could possibly be from Damoily Townland, Kilclonney Parish, County Armagh.................but not sure. 

I would greatly appreciate any help whatsoever, in locating this family.  It is a very large family, and it would be nice to bring the information I have "home" to Ireland, to anyone who has been looking.  Thanks.

    My name Jean Cochran, Nee Hoskins. My mother was Dorothy O’Reilly. I’ve traced our O’Reilly line up to William and Mary from County Armagh. 


    Are you looking for William and Mary’s descendants or ascendants? I’m looking for ascendants - their parents, grandparents, etc.

    I know William’s descendants from his son Henry, who emigrated to Canada to my mother. I would LOVE to share information with you. Once I figure out how to download my Ancestry.com DNA, I can sent it to you  

    The O’Reillys settled in Ontario, Canada. My line left Canada in in the late 1800s and moved to South Dakota, USA. then to Moscow, Idaho, USA.  My mother met my father at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, USA. 
    I was born in Rockaway, New Jersey, USA  and we moved to Westminster, California, USA when I was three years old, 1964  

    Anyway, I’m extremely interested in finding my ancestors. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated
