My Waterford ancestor has proved very elusive so far. As I am reluctant to post genealogical information on-line I would like to ask if someone could help me via direct emails. There are 2 existing documents which are relevant, one of which may lead to records which could hold more detailed information if they can be found.

  • Hello Ros,

It's a little unorthodox but I can appreciate that you don't llike to post your family details online.  I can't find an email address for you.   You could always set up a separate email address just for this purpose and I will be able to communicate with you regarding your request.  I'll do my best to help if I can.   If you answer this post with your email address then we can correspond privately after that.  I'm sure you can appreciate that I don't want to put my email address online.

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Anne Dennehy

  • Hello Anne

Many thanks for offering to try to help me with my research. This idea of 'reverse' genealogy is such a brilliant one and just what's needed as it is so difficult to understand and navigate the workings of another country and its records from afar. The thought of help from fresh, more locally informed minds gives me a glimmer of hope of solving my long term 'brick wall' problem.

I look forward to hearing from you on coparo@outlook.com and will fill you in on the little I know.

    Regards

    Ros Dee
