I am looking for information about Edward Seery (born about 1781) and his wife Catherine (born about 1791) from County Cavan. Their children born in Ireland were Jane (born about 1825/6), Robert (born about1828), John (born about 1831) and Thomas (born about 1836). The family moved to County Durham, England, between 1836 and 1841.

Ref your post have a look at www.nationalarchives.ie you will find Seery entries in 1821 census in Cavan . Also www.rootsireland (a pay site) for baptism/marriage for co cavan.Regards Frances

There is a family tree for Edward on ancestry.com. His wife was Catherine O'Donnell according to the tree owner.

Thank you for your message. The names I found in the 1821 census are not ones I can link with my family but may provide a clue to parishes that are worth investigating.
