The name is quite unusual, I had never heard it before. I looked at www.rootsireland.ie but couldn't find any records at all with name.
I then went to www.irishgenealogy.ie (free government site covering about 5 counties including Dublin) and found a number of records with that surname.
So have a look there. Just type in the surname and all records will come up.
