john murphy died 4th april 1901,mrs anne murphy informed glasnevin cemetry of his death buried in glasnevin cemetry
as i could not find a lot more about themurphy family the genealogy of ireland came to my rescue informing me that
donhnall spainneach mac murrough caomhanach the last king of leinster ,his son was the very first murphy in ireland ,as murrough caomhananach changed his name to murphy ,using the murr and adding a y,
so if you was to start looking for your grand father john murphy born ireland 1850,
start at criomthann mac murchadha mac murrough caomhanach 1557 to 1582 father of the last king of leinster
then go to his son domhnall spainneach mac murrough caomhanach1595 1632
then follow the family tree to your own,

just been told not, sure though, that the last murphy in blarney castle was john murphy 1700 to 1770 who goes back to the last king of leinster, and there is a book of his family ,naming the murphys, and on the blarney walls there use to be paintings of the murphy family, worth looking up,never know,
