Mr Charles Creighton/Crayton was said to have been born in Donegal in 1786.He moved to Uldale Gosforth in Cumbria England to marry Sarah Ladlay in 1812. The family stayed around the Cumbria region but some of the Creighton's moved to Victoria, Australia. There are a number of Creightons in the Donegal Bay area as proved by DNA.

We have had a few posts over the past months from people wishing to connect/seeking info on Creighton ancestors. As it is not a very common name you could search for Creighton posts on the site, as far as I remember they all refer to Ulster.
