I recently heard that there is a Dinsmore Bridge (in ruins, I'm told) on Vow Road. Can anyone give me information on that? I will be in Ballymoney on 25 to 29 June and would love to see it. Thank you.

Dinsmore Bridge is on the Vow Rd, where Cross townland meets Eden. It crosses a burn (minor river) that used to power a couple of flax mills in the area. The road is still very much in use so a bridge must be there. (Unlikely to be the original structure though).

Hers's a screenshot of the map from Griffiths Valuation showing Dinsmores Bridge, located where the townlands of Cross and Eden meet.

Visited Dinsmore Bridge! Your description of where it is helped us locate a local who took us to it, climbing over a wooden bridge and through a field. There it was! Later we went back to his home and he showed it identified on an old survey map. While the kindness and knowledge of a local brought us to the ruin, your description of the location was crucial for us to find our local guide. Thank you.

Here are two photos of the Dinsmore Bridge sent to me by the wonderful Peter McAlister, who took us to the bridge. Again, thank you for your directions.
