~~My verified 2x great grandfather Michael McCue was born in Ireland in 1829 or 1830. I don't know where. He settled in White Plains, Ossining, and Yonkers New York above New York City.
Either he emigrated from Liverpool to New York, USA on the Ship Yorkshire either August 1852 with his father also Michael McCue (aged 50) so born in 1801 or 1802 OR with several relatives in December 1851 from Liverpool to New York, USA with Patrick (aged 32), John (22), Martin (22), Pat, Patrick ( 1 month old infant).
I found 2 Michael McCues in Griffith's Valuation list in Mohill. One was a tenant of Trus Madden. In a US Census 1900, I found a Michael McCue working as a gardener in the household of a John Madden in Ossining, New York.
The other was a tenant for Charles Enson. I need help with this. Thank you for any efforts.

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your message. Have you tried looking online for records:
www.familysearch.org has a huge database of genealogical records including some church records for Ireland.
www.rootsireland.ie have a large collection of Irish Church records, however you have to pay to use this site.
Some other websites that may be useful are:
