Trying to Trace Grandfather Edward O'Malley but also could be the name Melia which I only found out though a genealogy site. And according to records his parents had 2 daughters Anne 1869 Mary Jane 1867 in this parish Edward O'Malley born 5/5/1874 Garristown, Co.Meath Parents: John Melia & Jane Cowley Married in 1898 to E. Nulty St. Agatha Dublin and died 1945 Dublin buried in Kilbarrack " Any info would be appreciated ...... They had 8 children, from 1899-1919...........John,  Jane, Joseph,  Eileen (Penrose)  Cathrine (Dunne) Gerard, Edward, Thomas.     Family Grave : Kilbarrack Co. Dublin.

May 2015:   Have found the Grave info with 5 Family Members:  Jane , parents Edward/Elizabeth, grandchild John Joseph & son John (Jack)   O'Malley

  • Thanks  very much but don't think it's the Edward as his father's name was John and found that in the marriage Records on the irish genealogy site.

  • Well have met up with cousins and the reason I coudn't find my grandparents they put the name down as O'Mally 1911 and O'Malley 1901 and have found him born in Garristown as Meila

  • Found Grandfather Edward O'Malley 5/5/1874 and his Father was John O'Malley married a Jane Cowley had 8 children Patrick 1861 & John 1863 went to Boston USA. James, Michael,  Anne,  Mary Jane, Margaret. The Name gets spelt different way:  Melia/Mealy/ .O'Mally. Great Grandfather:  John O'Malley born 1832 Baptised in Summerhill Parish Meath  and have found his parents Daniel O'Malley .  married a Bridget Gafney. These names may mean something to someone on here.  Thanks
